lollipop baby

Lollipop lollipop oh lolli lolli lolli.....

If you have a new bub this Christmas lollipop baby has just the outfit for those first photos Christmas morning!

With a great range of personalised t-shirts, onesies and artwork you will have a hard time narrowing it down to just one quirky, cute character!

Santa Claus on the left is the most popular of the first christmas prints but I went with the tree, shown below, for Miki's first Christmas. Once December hits she will probably be wearing this nearly every day up until Christmas.

Orders for Christmas close on the 5th of December so get in quickly to avoid disappointment! Prices are $29.95.

Of course you should also head to lollipop baby the rest of the year as well. A great gift for a new baby, I personally love the cowboy for the boys and the Japanese doll for the girls.
Its not all personalised, check out the cute regular designs with my favourite the ducky saying 'waddle I do today', 'my dad is pawfect' doggy and ebaby.
I'm sure the new personalised artwork will also be a big hit!
You can include the new baby's (or older ones) name, birthdate and time, birth location and weight and length. You can put as little or as much information as you like.
This one is even harder to decide a favourite! For the girls once again the Japanese doll (how about matching onesie and art?) or the cupcake looks delicious! Or for the boys the cowboy or giraffe. No need to get 2 if you have twins either as they are also catered for with a twin pair of ducks. All artwork is $24.95.

Check out their facebook page for the chance to win a onesie, closing the 21st November.
Hopefully I will be back next year with another order for another first Christmas baby if I get my way!! And that cupcake is mighty tempting, might just go back for another look......

Belly Bumps to Baby Hugs

Kim, the owner of belly bumps to baby hugs, is a very talented WAHM. She is also very generous with giveaways happening all the time. Currently you can win a dolls pouch like the one pictured on my daughter at the bottom of the page.

The site has many products made by Kim and other WAHMs plus various other useful items like the milkscreen to test for alcohol in your breast milk before feeding, the nursing pillow (which I would've loved with my first born hour long feeder!) and the Bubbalog baby health book to keep your babies records of nappies, feeds, sleeps etc.

These cute little satin shoes were worn by my younger daughter at her recent christening. Her feet are tiny and at 6 months is only just getting into 0-3 month size but luckily with the velcro fastener she couldn't kick them off! They looked so pretty with her white dress and tights. Currently on sale for $13.50!

My big girl got spoilt! Here she is with her doll pouch,
legwarmers and hair clip holder. Upsy Daisy now spends most of her time getting carried around the shops.

The hair clip holder is absolutely gorgeous! You can pick out your ribbon, paint and paper on the site to customise your own one, I just picked the ribbon I liked and left the rest up to them. As you can see it goes well with her room. No more lost clips!!!!

The legwarmers I had trouble choosing my favourite pattern but went with the black with pink hearts as she already has some other ones with girly patterns and colours so these ones are a little more rock chick! Love the spiders and skull and crossbones ones too, have a look through the range.

I also received the anywayupcup bottle tops, these are awesome! I have 2 always in my nappy bag. They fit on the top of all the water bottles at the shops so you can head out and if you stop for a drink, grab a bottle and if the kids want some put the lid on and they can't spill it! Brilliant! My daughter wants mums bottles now not 'baby' ones.

Oh and I nearly forgot about my baby carrier! I got the wrap around baby carrier and though it takes a bit of practice the first few times you soon become a pro at throwing it on. It's so comfortable to wear and bubs nods off in no time. I'm yet to try her in the facing out position but now she's becoming more nosey about whats going on around her I think I might try it soon. Made of 100% cotton it doesn't get to hot....yet! Ask me after I wear her out on a 40 degree day! Great for breastfeeding with too.

And last but not least I got the nappy wallet and wipes case. Simple things but so much prettier than your normal wipes case. Pick the print you want and Kim will make it for you! Groovy patterns and so compact you can go back to your old handbags instead of a nappy bag!

Check out the sales section for some bargains. Support a great WAHM and shop at belly bumps to baby hugs, you won't be disappointed!

Little Bare Bear

I love finding new stores and Little Bare Bear has only been around a few months but has already become one of my favourites.

My first order was quite a big one including 3 pairs of bathers, sunnies, sock-ons and hair clips. Plus I'm waiting for them to get in the matching hat to a pair of bathers and a duck chime ball! Phew my poor credit card... or so you'd think! LBB has 15% off STOREWIDE!! for the month of November with the code KIDS, great reason to grab some christmas presents.

Pictured below is my eldest daughter with her new Frankie Ray sunnies. These are just so cool, designed to last up to 13 years of age, 100% UV protection and made of shatter proof polycarbonate. I love the look and she loves wearing glasses like Mum's and has her own carry case. Sure they will last a while as she is only just over 2.

I couldn't resist the Cupid Girl bathers, my younger daughter is getting the Surf's Up one piece (even cuter in real life!) And my elder water nymph has already headed out in the Ladybird one piece with the Ladybird bikini (out of stock) coming to her for Christmas. I had never seen this brand before and love the bright colours and quality make. Looking forward to receiving the Surf's Up hat when they arrive in store!

Finally found some cute clips that don't slip by the way of the Cupcake bon-bons. And my other great find I hadn't seen before the Sock-ons! These fabulous little pieces of elasticised material should've been around before I lost countless pairs of socks with my first daughter! They slip over bubs socks and they can't kick them off. They also look uber-cute with the pretend laces on the pair I got (fairy white). I hope I never loose one of them!

OK enough about my splurging!

The first thing I wanted on the site was the nappy off mat, with summer nearly upon us nappy free time is loved by my little one. It's a pity she is now on the move and doesn't stay on anything which means nappy free time on the tiles or outside only! The breastfeeding necklace would make life so much easier with my easily distracted, scratching, pinching 6 month old! Funky colours too.

And last but not least the Kemby sidekick nappy bag, how much easier life would've been with my first born and this bag? No dragging the pram or baby carrier out, big enough to fit all my junk in and that blue is calling me!!! Check out the list of features and you are able to pay it off weekly!

In conclusion I think Little Bare Bear will be here for a long time to come! Especially with all the products yet to arrive ;). Great customer service and don't forget the 15% off. Make sure you bookmark this one and keep up to date on the facebook fan page.

Kids in Australia

This site isn't exactly for shopping on but it will lead you to where all the great shops are plus more!
Kids in Australia have hot sales, reviews, activities to do with your kids and even where to eat. It's so easy to navigate around and the one stop site for all Mums and Dads.

My first stop is always the sales section but after that I head straight to the competitions to see what is currently running as there are always a few. I was lucky enough to win a pack with Agoo and Petit products, both of which I've always been a fan of, before the current new site started.

Currently, as I write this, there are 8 competitions running and there are always more getting added all the time.

One that I would LOVE to win is the every little girls dream party. I could imagine my daughter would have a ball at one of these. Think I will have to start saving and do one for her 5th birthday. As you can see from the picture below the girls have such a fun time.

You (or the birthday girl and friends!) receive bubbly on arrival followed by pampering and games. I want some of these pampering treatments! How does a sensational strawberry foot scrub made of real strawberries sound? Or a cocoa facial? And the lucky birthday girl gets a glamour hair do and spa robe to keep. Even party favours are supplied filled with spa goodies!

The competition is for Melbourne people only as its run by Vonevents and you get to choose between the Ooh La La day spa party for up to 10 people or the Baby Shower Party just by saying in 25 words or less your ideal party and why you should win PLUS you get an extra 5 entries for making a booking with Vonevents and 2 extra entries by blogging or tweeting or facebooking about the competition! Suppose that would give me a good chance after writing this but pity they aren't in Perth! Entries close the 15th of January.

Well, I'm off to enter the Oz Material Girls competition on there as they are my current favourite store while I try my hardest to become super crafty mum. Make sure you add Kids in Australia to your favourites list.

Stay tuned for future blogs as I talk about some new stores that have popped up over the last couple of months.

Ele-ahbaant

ele-ahbaant( el · ly · ah · barn · t )finding funky kids clothes has never been so easy!

This quote from the site is so true! I can browse though Ele-ahbaant for hours putting things in my cart, now if I could just win the lotto or pay off my credit card I'd finally checkout it all!

I love supporting great Aussie stores and even more WA ones which there seems to be a lack of!

After becoming a 'fan' on the facebook site I was lucky enough to win the gorgeous pair of bathers pictured below by Stella Cove, these ones are no longer available but checkout the rest of the range. Very feminine but not all pink and frilly like a lot that you find for younger girls. My daughter wore them for the first time this week and received lots of compliments.

If I had a boy I'm sure his wardrobe would have at LEAST 5 pieces of Itch Designs clothing! The whole range oozes cool and I really love the girls signature dress which is on my wishlist, if only they had Miss 2's size available! They seem to sell out before they are even on websites! And for the boys the Pac shorts (pictured below) are to cool which is obvious with only size 4 left in stock!

For my baby girl I'd love a few of the Daily Tea dresses. Some are at ridiculously cheap prices! but mostly I'm dying for one of the Egg Baby dresses. If you have a little girl you MUST check out the Egg Baby Brushed cotton Ruffle Dress in Grass and its cute little matching sunhat and my favourite the Egg Baby Voile Ruffle Dress in Lavender (pictured below). I can see miss 6 months in that on Christmas day earning her lots of cuddles!

Make sure you check out the clearance rack for some amazing bargains.

Until the 4th of November you can also get 20% off storewide, including those already reduced, with the code fb20. Happy shopping!

Agoo

Lately it seems every site I've visited has had Agoo products listed but it took me a while to catch up as to why. The first pair I got of the leghuggers were from Charlipop Kids as the result of winning a prize during the 2nd birthday celebrations. Then I won more from Kids In Australia that also came with the cute bamboo socks. And my most recent are the pair below that I got with the current $1 plus P&H deal they have running.

I have always been a fan of the leghuggers trend as they are great when bubs start crawling to protect little knees and to put on in the morning with shorts and skirts before it warms up for the day.
Agoo clothing is perfect for the Australian environment. Take this quote from their website "Our key component is our fabrics. They contain a strong UV protected finish, blocking out any harmful ultra violet rays. No matter how many times you wash it or expose it to sunlight or saltwater, the protection is always there." So important to me, and I'm sure lots of families, as we have a history of skin cancer in our family.
The leghuggers are currently all on sale for $10 at the Agoo site and many others. Charlipop Kids, ele-ahbant, out of the egg and babies and kids just to name a few.

You won't find ant other leghuggers as soft as Agoo's range and I doubt any with such cute designs! Can't wait to see what they next have instore for us!

Make sure you check out the rest of the clothing range as well. The dresses are so cute, I have taken a liking to the Happy Dress - Pink/White/Maroon as well as the squarts and I don't know how I'm going to resist the babies pants for my little princess and the Lydia dress, I have a real thing for the maroon colour!
And don't forget the boys! I think the wave tee is a must for the beach this summer, the playful pants look so comfortable I want them in my size! And for the little boys its got to be the twozie top with the dude hat.
With free shipping for orders over $50 I think I will be back soon, at least for that Lydia dress and let me know when the playful pants are in my size!!

I want Fabulous!

Do you want a fabulous range of clothes? Fabulous service? Fabulous sales? Then you've come to the right place at I want fabulous!

A friend and I have a running joke about parrots so when she was due to have her little girl I wanted something with parrots on it. I had looked everywhere and found a dress on Etsy but it was $70 USD so way above what I wanted to spend. Then the I want fabulous! newsletter popped into my inbox and never one to not check out a sale I had a browse and found the Lilac Parrot babysuit by Ida T (pictured below) and it was just perfect!

When Katie (from IWF!) saw that it was getting sent to a different address from mine she promptly emailed me about attaching a gift tag and what I would like written on it. Great service gets me every time :-) but it didn't stop there! She then emailed me back telling me about a competition on Style Collective to win a $1000 shopping spree and her competition (still running) to win a Pirouette Petticouture Pettiskirt by signing up to her newsletter. Wow, great don't you think? I feel like an infomercial but wait.... there's still more!!! With my invoice that she sent to me she added a little gift of the matching Parrot knickers! I don't think our parrot jokes will ever end now, lol.

Make sure you check out whats new in store. I'm loving the Polka and Three Little Trees and Sooki baby is always a winner for cuteness. They offer worldwide shipping so you have no excuse to get looking.

Thankyou to the fabulous Katie, I will be back!

Oz material girls

When the craft bug bites the place to head to is Oz Material Girls. There is so much to see in their store its hard to know where to start....

So of course I head to the Kids section. Just going through the first page of products I want about 7 of the 10 items listed, how will I make it through all 241 without remortgaging the house? At least at these prices and free postage for this month I can get enough to last me the year!

Coming up to Christmas they have some great panels and fabric for those that like to get into the spirit or even a reindeer panel that you can use to make your child a reindeer stuffed toy! I think even the less gifted seamstress like me could do one of those!

If you are wanting to try some of their fantastic prizes head over to Handmade Kids and check out the competition they are currently running.

Up for grabs is a delightful Saffron Craig fabric which includes a fabulous panel to make your own softies and the beautiful retro birds fabric. So easy to enter but closes soon so hurry!

Your Cheeky Monkey

I ran into Monique from Your Cheeky Monkey on a chat site and had a look at her store. It mostly consists of hand made toys, bags and other useful things for those of us with kids. Plus a few things for Mummies.

That day I bought one of her fair trade Tuttu Turtles (as pictured below) which came in a special pack at a great price on a Thursday (though it was Friday she reopened it for me) with a Monkey finger puppet and fair trade embroidered backpack. These will all be stocking stuffers for Christmas this year. I also got a pack of the fregie sacks. What a great product! They are made in Australia and you use them to put your fruit and vegetables in instead of plastic bags.

I imagine I'll be back for more as I usually get more than 5 things at a time but glad to do my little bit for the planet and they are very cute colours! Plus she has 16 other uses for them listed on the site.

Some of the other products I've been eyeing off include the recycled Jeans bags (get your own Guess bag no-one else owns!) and I love this matching set of red skulls beanie/taggie for boys http://www.yourcheekymonkey.com.au/store/WsDefault.asp?One=231
But you really must check out the Googly Eyed Bunnies which are handmade using fantastic patterned fabrics and have safety eyes so little ones cant pull or chew them off! No two are the same.
I also must say that the service was excellent! Being in Perth you usually wait about a week for deliveries but I ordered Friday night and it was here by Tuesday, plus it had the added suprise of a Chuppa-chup that I have eaten while writing this blog, lol.
Thanks Monique for your great store

A little about me

I grew up in a fantastic little town called Ballidu. I was the only girl in my year at school with 4 boys. I loved the farm life, no cars around, playing with my brothers and sister and not a care in the world.
Of course I had to go to boarding school to do highschool as there wasn't one in the town which was a big shock to the system after being the only girl my age to having nearly 100!!
My parents wanted the best for us but that school really wasn't for me and I don't think I'll be sending my girls there.

Now I live permenantly in Perth with my husband and our 2 girls. Having 2 girls has been dangerous to my credit card, how can anyone resist all the cute clothing around?? At first I was really hesitant about online shopping, how do you know its going to fit and look ok on them?

The first store I bought from was Charlipop Kids. I had seen a competition on their site and entered. That was now over 18 months ago and I regularly chat to Kat and even set up her Facebook page! She still has the best competitions and sales.

Above is a picture of my elder daughter with one of my Charlipop deliveries.

Now I'm a regular online shopper and have bought toys, clothes, accessories and gifts for people both from stores in Australia and international.

I'm planning on blogging about some of the sites I've bought off and designers I own so stay tuned!
