Todays blog is about a great store I found as the result of winning one of the Shopolat hunt prizes and let me add to Miss C's Christmas presents. The store is Jelly Bean Books which specialises in personalised children's books. There are a huge range of titles with a few great ones for Christmas time including Santa and Baby Jesus and a range of licensed characters which include the Sesame Street gang, Spiderman, Barbie and Superman and even a giant Where's Wally book!
The one I chose for Miss C was one of the Sesame Street range and as you can see in the picture below she enjoyed kicking back in her chair reading it before I packed it away to be wrapped for Christmas morning.
The details featured in the story can include the childs name, the suburb they live in, a few of their friends and also a special message.
Miss C has her sisters as part of her story and we put the message ' Love Mum & Dad Happy 1st Christmas 2010' in the front of it. I hope it's a book she can keep forever and one day read to her own children.
The colours are bright and keep the child's attention and has a hard cover so it's made to last. I've bought a few personalised books before but none of them have had a hard cover and 1-2 year olds seem to love ripping things!
Of the non licensed range I love the little Mermaid and Teddy Bear Land which I think Miss J would like with the pink marshmellow bunnies! There is also a My Baby Book for a new arrival which features baby's name, time of birth, hospital, doctors name and more.
Besides books there are cute letters available sent from Santa or the Easter Bunny! Coming to your child direct from the North Pole your child will know Santa knows where to drop the presents off to!
All prices on the website include shipping so no hidden costs.
Become a liker on facebook as they often have giveaways and special sales.
The fabulous Jelly Bean Books has been extremely generous and offered Bub & Moo readers the chance to win one of the books from either of the deluxe ranges for someone special in their life this Christmas.
To win all you need to do is head to Jelly Bean Books, tell us which book you would choose and who for before the 11th of November. Winner will be chosen at random and announced on our Facebook page on the 12th.
Goodluck!

I would choose batman as I have two boys who love superheros!
Thanks for the competition !
I would chose the Dinosaur Land book as my son has become quite fascinated with the prehistoric creatures :)
Luka would love the Dinosaur Land book.
I would choose the Elmo - no more nappies book for Meg as that's where we are heading at the moment.
I would get the My Baby Book. What a gorgeous way to commemorate a new birth! (Plus I really need to get my self into gear and do baby #2's book - he is 14 months old!!)
I would love to get Sesame Street: Let's Count. Miss Baylee is totally intrigued by us counting to her - I could imagine her excitement if she was part of the story too!

Obviously this comment won't be counted in the giveaway, but I wanted to let you all know my choice of personalised book. Julia (Miss nearly 4) has asked me several times for "When I Grow Up" - she says because it might help her to know what she wants to do when she grows up. I keep telling her it's not a job guide but I don't think she'll give up until I make her one for Christmas! Thanks for the blog write-up Caprice! Christine xx
Hehehe I had the Jelly Bean Book on my Shopolat wish list....but missed out on it lol :)
My son loves Elmo so the Sesame Street:No more nappies would be great for him. We have had a few attempts at toilet training and Im sure this book would be a great help to him.
Thank you for the opportunity.
I would have to get the Farm Animals book. My daughter loves animals and looking at them in books!
Would love the batman book! Two super boys who love superheros!
I would also so choose the sesame street no more nappies, for my oldest daughter we are currently trying to do away with her nappies but she would share with her little sister :)
I would so choose the Elmo no more nappies
Definately the Dinosaur Land books. Master 3 is totally obsessed with anything dinosaur related from books to jocks lol
I would choose them all but sadly as cheap as they are all of them might be a bit out of my budget. So my next choice might have to be Ballerina Princess for my princess.
I would choose the Farm Animals.. my kids love animals and love anything and everything to do with animals!
It's a hard choice but I like the Dinosaurs book and I think Ryan would too
Little Mermaid for my daughter because 1. It's her favourite movie; and 2. I'm sure she's going to want to actually be the Little Mermaid when she grows up because she loves water!
I would get the Dinosaur one for my son who is just discovering the joys of reading :D
I would love the No more nappy book. I am in the process of toilet training my daughter she loves to take of her Nappy and wee everywhere, apart from the potty!
I would choose Batman for my youngest son. He loves watching batman win against the crooks and he loves the though of defeating anyone who wants to battle him too.. Even when I get into the role play of villans and good guys with both my children, my little man is always willing to jump in front of me and yell "stand back mummy I save you from the bad guy" and then to his older brother "come on come on, I will defeat you". It makes me think that reading a book with him staring in it would bring out such a hole new concept of role play for him and his brother.. I think it would be prieless
We would choose either the batman or the superman book. My 2 year old is really into his superheroes at the moment.. He even insisted on going trick or treating this year in his spiderman mask. LOL
Lucas would absolutely love the 'Where's Wally' book - he's obsessed with 'matching' pictures and finding things now, and he's also great at spotting his own name when it's written down, so I know he'd get a real kick out of it!
Without a doubt it would be Dinosaur Land for my 4th son who knows all the dinosaur and has watched all the Land Before Time movies repeatedly for the last few months. He'd get a buzz out of reading it!
