When we have children those spontaneous dinner dates don't seem to happen anymore. Hubby and I used to love trying out new places but now I just never know if they will have highchairs, suitable food or even welcome families. Luckily Kids in Australia are here to help us out!
The new Kids Eat Free Card has a list of places you can take the kids where you will be welcomed and the kids get some great food for free! Much nicer than the times you order them a $15 meal which they only eat a mouthful of!
Not only is there food offers but also zoos, wildlife parks, play centres and other tourist attractions to help work up an appetite! I'm looking forward to taking my girls to the Fun Station Playcentre where one will get entry for free. Miss J wants to go see the pineapple but think that one will be a bit more than a day trip from Perth!
New restaurants and attractions are getting added all the time so even if there isn't something very close to you now keep an eye out as I'm sure the list will soon be huge and you will be spoilt for choice!

If I had a Kids In Australia card, I'd love to take my family to the pet porpoise pool on the NSW mid-north coast because I can just imagine how hysterical my daughter would be if she got to get a seal kiss after seeing her close her eyes and push her face towards our dog numerous times a day! It's also one of my earliest family holiday memories which makes it kind of special :)
If I had a Kids in Australia Card, I'd take my family to Republica @ St.Kilda. We love going out for breakfast on the weekend, and spending lots of family time together. Republica is located right on the beach, so we can enjoy a hot breakfast before talking a walk on the sand and soaking up the St.Kila atmosphere.
Funky and spunky. If I had a Kids in Australia Card I would take my family to Aussie World. We are planning a family holiday to the Sunshine Coast soon and I've driven past the funky lil' pub many a time. I've longed to go inside to experience the charm but for some reason or another, it's never happened. A goal for this holiday is to DO IT as a family this time!
I agree with Michelle, i'd definately take the family to Rebublica @ St Kilda.. I haven't been there since my little girl was born, we used to spend fabulous days in St Kilda but haven't really ventured there since but the Kids in Australia card would make all the differnece to the budget and a fabulous day out at the beach.
First stop with our Kids in Australia card - James Squire Brewhouse because it has something for the whole family: beer tasting for dad, pinball machines and arcade games for the kids, and spectacular views of the Melbourne skyline to transport mum to a sparkling wonderland after a busy week looking after the family!
The Pet Porpoise Pool at Coffs Harbour. Hubby and I fed dolphins there on our honeymoon - would love to revisit with our toddler.
I would head to Peel Zoo. What a great day out for the family! In fact, seeing as it's closer to Mandurah, we would probably go for a couple of days and make it a day at the zoo so as not to feel rushed to travel home again.
My almost 3 year old is at the age where he can really appreciate the animals and be a little more hands on. My 7 month old - well, he finds dogs funny so I am sure he would love the great variety of animals too!!!
If I had the australia Card i would take my grandchildren to the gold coast to see Ripley's Believe It or Not it has some of the most fascinating objects from the deepest part of Africa and different islands of the pacific
Definitely the pet porpoise pool in Coffs. I was born in Coffs Harbour many years ago and have not been back for a looooong time. Plus, I happen to know of a pretty nifty kids' clothing store that is based there!!
